The show is directed and choreographed by Rina Chae, the renowned Korean – New Zealand dancer, choreographer and K-Pop industry professional, celebrated as “NZ’s Queen of K-Pop” (NZ Herald) for her pivotal role in introducing and establishing K-Pop dance culture in Australasia. Her international career spans the USA, South Korea, the UK, Australia, and beyond. Rina has performed with global icons including Beyoncé and Justin Bieber, choreographed for artists across Australia, the UK, and New Zealand, and is widely recognised for her influential and undeniable contributions within the K-Pop industry. The public may also recognise Rina as the host of the four-season television series K-Pop Academy NZ, a New Zealand–produced K-Pop music and dance reality show. The lineup features live vocals from K-Pop Apprentice, along with live rapping and dancers.
Following a SELL OUT New Zealand Tour with 19 shows, 11 sellouts, and 19,000+ tickets sold, K-POP LIVE now arrives in Australia for an even bigger school holiday spectacular.
K-POP LIVE is produced by Showcase Entertainment Group producers of Shrek, Madagascar and The Cat in the Hat.
