The Hannibal Arts Council continues Art Adventures, its popular creative project series, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S Main St. The October Art Adventure is a creative project for grades K-5th.
Students in grades K-5 are invited to create instruments, flags and banners to use during the return of the children’s parade at the 50th Annual Hannibal Folklife Festival.
To help mark the Folklife Festival’s milestone year, the children’s parade will kick off the festivities with a march down historic Main St at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 17th.
Participation is free, but registration is required. To register, go online to hannibalartscouncil.eventbrite.com, call 573-221-6545 or stop by 105 S. Main St.
Funding assistance for HAC youth programs is generously provided by George H. Riedel Private Foundation, The Community Foundation of West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri, Marion County Endowment Fund and the Missouri Arts Council. Additional support comes from the Jesse David Cox Memorial Fund and HAC Program Scholarship Fund donors.
