About the Event: Back by popular demand, the Justin Stephenson Ensemble presents a celebration of one of the greatest albums of all time: Songs in the Key of Life. We celebrate 50 years since Stevie Wonder released the most critically acclaimed album of his career, with many critics and musicians alike citing this album as the greatest of all time.
Justin Stephenson is one Brisbane's premier vocalists, consistently selling out his performances in Brisbane and around Australia. With over 25 years of performing in Australia and around the world, Justin considers Stevie Wonder to be his greatest influence in his own musical career, also citing Songs in the Key of Life as being the greatest album of all time. Featuring some of Brisbane's finest musicians: James Sandon - drums, Robbie Flay - bass, Nathaniel Andrew - guitar, Juan Muzzio - percussion, Ben Byrne - tenor sax, Sergei Prosvirnov - alto sax, Gabriel Garcia - trumpet, Alyson Joyce – vocals and Justin Stephenson - keys and vocals; the Justin Stephenson Ensemble pays homage to this musical masterpiece by presenting the album in its original entirety.
