Let's talk about how important just one conversation can be.
Research shows talking openly about suicidal thoughts doesn't increase the likelihood someone will attempt and makes it much more likely they will seek help. So let's talk about it.
Gather as a community to hear a talk by Sam Eaton, founder of Recklessly Alive, who has spoken at over 200 events throughout the U.S., as he shares his inspiring story and important information about mental health awareness. There will also be live music, local mental health resources, door prizes, and ways to help prevent suicide in our community.
Together, we can create a world with zero deaths by suicide.
6:30 - 8 PM at Prairie Lakes Church. Doors open and Pizza served at 6:00 PM.
The event is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 12+, nothing graphic or inappropriate will be shared.
