Just Meet is exactly what it sounds like. A small group. A relaxed setting. And the kind of easy, unforced connection that happens when people simply show up and spend time together.
It is a beginning. A low pressure entry point for people who want to be social without the overwhelm of a big event. The group is small by design, six to eight people, so it never feels like too much. Just enough to make an evening of it.
No big night out required. No performance. Just meet.
What Is Just Drinks?
Just Drinks is one of four formats within Just Meet. It is the most casual expression of the idea — a couple of hours, a good bar, and a small group of singles in their 40s & 50s who would rather have a real conversation than a big night out.
There is no host directing things. No structured activities. No icebreakers. People arrive, order a drink, and conversation unfolds naturally.
It is the simplest way to just meet.
Who Is This For?

Just Drinks is not a singles party, a speed dating night, or a large social mixer. If that is what you are after, there are plenty of great events that deliver exactly that.
This is for people who have tried those events and found themselves wanting something smaller, calmer, and more genuine.
What To Expect On The Night
You will arrive at a relaxed bar chosen for its atmosphere and suitability for good conversation.
The group is small by design, between six and eight people, so there is no working a room and no one gets lost in the crowd. Everyone orders their own drinks. The evening runs for two hours.
There is no agenda and no schedule. The conversation finds its own pace. Some people swap numbers. Some people simply have a great couple of hours. Both are equally fine.
Practical Details
- $20 per person to secure your spot. You pay for your own food and drinks at the venue.
- 6 to 8 attendees. Small by design.

- Bookings close 48 hours before the event
A Note On Commitment
Because Just Meet is intentionally small, every person in the group matters.
When you book, you are not just reserving a spot. You are making a quiet agreement with the other people who have booked. They are counting on a full group, the same as you.
That is why we ask for a small commitment fee of $20, and why bookings that do not show or cancel on the day are not eligible to book future Just Meet sessions. It is a simple way of making sure that everyone who shows up finds the evening they came for.
