Join us in Brent Cross Town this summer for an incredible series of fun, free events and activities lasting all summer long!From Saturday 27 July, workshops and activities will run throughout the summer holidays until Saturday 1 September. This year, our summer events programme is inspired by Paris 2024 and particularly by the thrilling new sports recently added to the games: skateboarding and wall climbing both made their debut at Tokyo in 2020/21, while breakdancing will make its debut this summer. We’re holding exciting workshops where you’ll be able to try your hand at these fantastic and challenging sports as part of a summer-long programme of activities.
In addition, we’ll see the return of favourites from last year’s programme including football, basketball, and beat the goalie sessions in Claremont Park, arts and crafts sessions in the Claremont Park cabin, wellbeing sessions for adults and teenagers at the Visitor Pavilion, and baseball sessions at The 108. Our table tennis tables in Exploratory Park are free to use every day too.
Join us for a fun-filled carnival and family picnic in Claremont Park on 17 August from 1-6pm. Run by Just in Carnival, the event will include a host of exciting free activities including carnival costume making, steelpan workshops, carnival dance class, carnival fitness class, face painting, henna and more.
