About this Event
You are invited to a daylong workshop of movement and rest with Movement Liberation and Moving Joy. Your space holders, Sarah Crowell and Valerie Chafograck welcome all BIPOC movers to join in this collective liberatory experience.
This daylong calls us to cultivate our capacity to receive and release, to allow and follow the breath. Let it become audible and visible as it shapes through our movements, presence, mindfulness and rituals.
Using the lens of curiosity, dance, music, stillness and silence we dare to fully inhabit our bodies, our lives, and for our souls to be expressed.
What happens when we invite breath and presence, and let go of preference?
To breathe consciously is creating room to practice aliveness in each movement moment. To breathe is to be here, to take and occupy space, to liberate, to let the heart beat with all that exists within and around you- the grief and the joy- the fierce and the tender.
