Jurien Bay Camera Club would like to invite you to a weekend of photography from Friday 11th October to Sunday 13th October 2024.This is a free event and all camera club members are welcome to come along. No food will be provided and you’ll need to book your accommodation.
Our initial plan is below and more details will be released closer to the weekend. Our members will be scouting out the best wildflower locations in the leadup to the event to finalise the plan.
Friday night - meet and greet at the Sandpiper Tavern. Come along for dinner or just to have a casual chat and find out the plans for the weekend. The tavern has pizzas and good pub food and is close to the center of town and the caravan park.
Saturday
Dawn in the sand dunes between 5am and 7:30am
Morning - wildflower walk
Lunch - BYO picnic or option for tavern/roadhouse
Afternoon - Wildflower walk
Late afternoon/dinner - nothing planned
Night - Astro or light painting - venue TBD
Sunday morning - Stockyard gully caves or Sandy Cape depending on transport as Stockyard Gully needs 4WD.
