ABOUT JURASSIC JO’s
Jurassic Jo’s provides interactive and educational entertainment experiences that give dinosaur-loving kids the opportunity to meet and learn all about our favorite prehistoric pals! Jo and her dino friends are following parent company Brie’s Best Guests’ mission – to provide sensory-friendly and accessible children’s entertainment so that little paleontologists of all different needs and abilities can have an unforgettable experience.
Brie’s Best Guests, created by Maine-based educator and artist Gabrielle “Brie” Roche, started with a mission to spread joy, while also being inclusive and sensory-friendly to allow children with different types of abilities to enjoy magical experiences. Because Brie’s brother lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder, she started volunteering with the special education community at a young age. Her mother always had a difficult time finding ways to celebrate his birthday in a way that met his sensory and developmental needs. Working with and helping these children (and adults!) celebrate these milestones became their primary goal.
Brie’s educational and professional career has consistently revolved around making learning fun, accessible, and engaging. Additionally, Brie’s Best Guests is committed to accurate representation of characters of color, as well as disability and LGBTQ+ representation for various characters. They are proud to have assembled a well-rounded team of cast members with performance, educational, and therapeutic professional backgrounds.
This show is made possible thanks to our supporting sponsors, the Rockland Harbor Hotel and OUT Maine, and grant funding from the Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust.
