SUNDAY STROLL is a monthly event, created by our community, focused on re-envisioning Rockland's Main Street as a community gathering space. For this event we open Main Street to pedestrians, vendors, artists and performers in an effort to foster sustainability, creativity, community, inclusivity, and wellness through interaction and engagement. Activities include:
Makers Market
Non-Profit Booths with Activities
Live Music and Entertainment
Trivia
Community Art
Thematic Demonstrations, Talks and Presentations
Downtown Scavenger Hunt
Stroll the Street and Meet Your Neighbors
...and More!
The event takes place the 3rd Sunday of the month from 11:00am to 4:00pm, with Main Street being closed to traffic from 10am-5pm between Park Street and Glover's Passage (Ada's Kitchen)*.
We're always looking for ideas and volunteers. Send us a message if you'd like to join us - all are welcome!
*Oversized vehicles and cars with very low clearance are recommended to use the detour at Broadway which will bring through traffic back onto rte. 1 via 17/Maverick Street.
