About this Event
Join us for our April Easter 2026 Junk Journal Meetup | RSVP Now
You are enough, blooming in your own season, and like spring after a long winter, your healing, joy, and growth cannot be stopped. Self-love, self-care, and mental health awareness are the gentle “April showers” that water your soul so you can flourish. Remember April showers bring MAY flowers.
Quick facts: self-love, self-care, and mental health
- Self-love means honoring your worth, being kind to yourself, and accepting that you are a work in progress and still worthy right now.
- Regular self-care—rest, boundaries, creativity, movement, prayer/meditation, and asking for help—reduces stress and supports emotional balance.
- Mental health awareness helps strip away shame and silence, reminding everyone that needing support is human, not a weakness.
Spring / Easter junk journal prompts
Use these as page starters or table cards for your meetup:
- “The April showers in my life (hard seasons, tears, delays) have watered this new growth in me…”
- “Areas of my life that are ready to bloom this spring are…”
- “Things I am ready to release and let wash away with the rain are…”
- “New beginnings I want to welcome this season are…”
- “Ways I can care for my mind, body, and spirit as I step into a fresh start…”
- “If I believed I was enough and unstoppable, this is the ‘seed’ I would plant today…”
Mental health awareness with an Easter/spring lens
- Just like seeds hidden underground, healing and progress often happen quietly before anyone can see them; mental health care honors that unseen work.
- Spring and Resurrection themes remind us that even after deep loss, disappointment, or burnout, renewal and restoration are still possible.
- Naming stress, grief, trauma, or anxiety out loud is like opening a window after winter—light and fresh air can finally come in.
“You are Enough / You are Unstoppable” affirmations (spring edition)
You can letter these on pages, tuck them in envelopes, or make them into tip-ins and tags:
- I am enough, even in my rainy seasons; every tear has watered my growth.
- I am unstoppable because I keep rising, just like spring returns every year.
- I give myself permission to start again, to begin small, and to bloom slowly.
- I am worthy of new beginnings, fresh joy, and gentle, steady healing.
- I am not behind; I am right on time for the season I am in.
- I honor my mental health the way I would care for a garden: with patience, protection, and consistent tending.
- I release the old stories that no longer serve me and make room for new life and new hope.
- I am allowed to rest like winter and rise like spring.
- My voice, my story, and my healing journey matter in this room and in this world.
- I am enough. I am blooming. I am unstoppable.
Creative ideas for your meetup
- Rain & bloom spread: One page for “April Showers” (things survived, tears shed); the opposite page for “May Flowers” (strengths, lessons, new hopes).
- Seed packet notes: Make faux seed packets labeled “Peace,” “Joy,” “Healing,” “Confidence” and have guests write what they are “planting” this season.
- Easter / resurrection tags: Tags that say “New Life,” “Fresh Start,” or “Second Chance” where guests list ways they care for their mental health moving forward.
Make and take meetup will include a junk journal kit that is available upon ticket purchase. Tickets will be $10 for the event and $10 for the kit. If the kit is not purchased, attendees are still able to participate. Limited supplies for make and take will be provided centered around the theme.
