Rowing is a dynamic sport that everyone can enjoy. This camp will teach the basics of rowing, starting on land and then moving into the boats on the river. Participants will learn rowing terminology, boat handling, and how to move a boat on the Iowa River! Join us for a 4-day series this summer!
Session 1: Mon-Thurs, June 24-27, 9-11am
Session 2: Mon-Thurs, July 29-August 1, 9-11am
Session 3: Mon-Thurs, August 12-15, 9-11am
Items to wear and bring for participation: weather-appropriate apparel, hat, sunglasses, water bottle and sunscreen. Baggy clothing is discouraged as it may get caught in the equipment.
Required: Participants must be at least 12 years old, 5’0 tall and able to lift 25lbs over their head.
Registration is required. Attendance each day is recommended. There are no refunds 3 days prior to the start of each session.
