About this Event
Love learning about new habitats? Curious about wildlife? Our Junior Rangers at the Refuge program is perfect for your family! Join us each month as we explore the Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge through fun, educational activities.
This March, we'll discover who's roaming the Refuge by becoming track detectives! We'll become animals as we practice walking patterns, search the marsh mud for evidence of sneaky animal activity, then complete a fun take-home track craft!
Our Junior Ranger program is perfect for families with elementary-aged children.
Other Considerations:
- Please register each parent and child for their own ticket. This helps us know how many attendees to expect.
- Parent/Guardian must remain with child for entire program. Younger siblings are welcome!
- Driving Directions: We recommend using Google Maps to navigate to 1751 Grand Blvd, Alviso.
- Wear comfortable clothing, sun protection, and comfortable walking shoes. We also recommend bringing a filled reusable water bottle, and you are welcome to bring a lunch or snack.
- ADA-compliant parking spaces, trails, and restrooms/portable toilets are available on-site.
- With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed in this part of the refuge.
- If you need any more accommodations, please don't hesitate to reach out to [email protected].
