Looking for an exciting and educational summer experience for your child? The Berks History Center invites young learners to take part in our annual Junior Historian Camp, a three-day immersive history adventure designed for children ages 7–17 years old.Hosted in the engaging setting of our museum from June 17th through 19th, 2026 (10:00AM–3:00PM each day), this camp offers participants the opportunity to journey back in time while exploring the rich history and culture of Berks County. Campers will enjoy hands-on activities and games inspired by the past, connecting with the experiences of those who shaped our community.
Each day focuses on different aspects of local history, from colonial life to more contemporary times. Young historians will gain a deeper appreciation of how Berks County has evolved while exploring museum exhibits, participating in scavenger hunts, and creating their own history-inspired projects to take home. This engaging program blends learning with creativity, collaboration, and fun.
Space is limited to ensure a personalized and meaningful experience for each participant. We encourage early registration to secure your child’s spot in this unforgettable summer program.
Camp Cost:
$35 for BHC 1776 Club Members
$50 for Non-1776 Club Members
