About this Event
Join us in an introductory lesson in using the citizen science app, iNaturalist. Connect with nature while you contribute to scientific research and boost your animal and plant identification skills. Complete fun challenges and become a naturalist in the making, all in the beautiful setting of a nature reserve.

COST: Free.
AGE: Suitable for ages 9+.
BOOKINGS: Required via Eventbrite. Maximum 5 tickets.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU REGISTER
- A ratio of 1 adult per 4 children is required.
- All adults and children (including infants) must have a ticket.
- Please cancel online via Eventbrite if you cannot attend.
REQUIREMENTS ON THE DAY:
- Please bring a device for your child/children to use.
- Please download the app ‘iNaturalist’ & make an account before the session.
- Arrive minimum 10 minutes early to check in with staff at the centre.
- All children must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult.
- Wear a hat, sun-safe clothing, fully enclosed walking shoes (no thongs or open shoes please), sunscreen, and bring insect repellent.
- Water and a snack if required, as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: All outdoor events are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
