Spend a day full of doing: making music, discovering, singing, and playing together. Try something new, meet other young musicians, and experience what it’s like to spend a whole day surrounded by music. Bring your instrument and join us for an inspiring day within the walls of Conservatorium Maastricht, or even take the stage yourself in our concert hall!
🎵 Workshops
Here’s a taste of what you can do during the Junior Do Day:
-Open Stage: play your music in the big hall of Conservatorium Maastricht.
-Electronic Music Production: make your own music using sounds from the city, record, modify, and organize sounds.
-Managing the Stage: learn tools to stay in control while performing.
-Riley’s In C: improvise together as a group, guided by Riley’s famous motives.
-Sightreading: everyone can do it, discover tools to improve your reading skills.
-Chamber Music: uncover the secret to truly playing together.
-Jazz Improvisation in Group: explore how to create music collectively.
Workshops are created and organized by students of the Bachelor Advanced Teaching Skills course and teachers of the Junior Conservatorium.
