Get your bug spray and sunscreen ready! We are headed for a BIG ADVENTURE at the Sacramento Zoo. That's right, it's time to go deep into the jungle where the Dunosours run free and lots of animals to see. Now remember, the jungle can get HOT! Be sure to wear your cool safari clothing and bring your sun umbrellas, hats, fans, and water bottles. Oh yea, and comfortable running shoes. I hear these loose dinosaurs are fast!! Tickets: I was told that ticket prices can change daily, anywhere from $20 to $30. The best way to get the cheapest ticket price is to get them early through the zoo website (saczoo.org) start checking their ticket calendar May 1. The earlier you buy your tickets the better the price.
Plan to meet at the main zoo entrance at 10 am. The safari will go till 1pm, then we will meet for lunch at 1:30 at a TBD restaurant outside of the park. There is a Cafe for snacks and drinks available at the zoo.
Parking is free around Land park, but be aware there are a few venues in the area and parking can get crowded so make time for parking.
There is a carousel for $3pp
The zoo train is $4pp
and a virtual reality theater for $8 if you wish to partake.
