About this Event
Please join us and special guests at 3pm on Sunday 4th September at the Underbelly Earl’s Court outdoor cinema for the charity screening of the hit movie “Jungle Cry”.
Based on the inspiring true story of 12 underprivileged and orphaned children from Odisha in Eastern India, 'Jungle Cry' follows their triumphant journey to the U14 Rugby World Cup in the UK.
Tom Varndell, the Rugby Premiership's second top try scorer of all time, will be making a guest appearance to talk about the Jungle Crows Foundation. The charity supports children in under-privileged communities in India via the power of rugby helping them to develop resilience, self-belief and to make a positive contribution to society.
The event is family friendly (U-cert movie), and we encourage children of all ages to come – there is a sandpit for the youngest and a variety of games for all ages. There will be a number of food stalls in the arena, and two fully stocked bars.
Stewart Wright will be there in person to talk about the movie and the charity, and to sign autographs.
We would love you to make a donation of £10-20 per attendee. 100% of the money donated will go straight to the Jungle Crows Foundation.
