When it comes to bass music heritage, few names carry as much weight as Ed Solo and Deekline – the powerhouse duo behind Jungle Cakes.
Both artists carved their reputations long before joining forces. Deekline exploded onto the UK scene in the late ‘90s with the genre-defining UK garage anthem “I Don’t Smoke,” helping shape the evolution of bass-driven club music. Ed Solo built a cult following through his deep roots in jungle and drum & bass, becoming known for his unmistakable ragga-infused production style and dancefloor weapons that DJs worldwide still shell to this day.
Together, they launched Jungle Cakes in 2005 — a label that quickly became synonymous with feel-good jungle and party-starting drum & bass. Over the years, Jungle Cakes has released countless anthems, supported major artists, and built a global brand recognised for its sunshine vibes and heavyweight basslines.
