Juneteenth Prayer Breakfast
Our organization has the distinct honor to recognize and celebrate pillars in our communities at the Juneteenth Prayer Luncheon on June 13. It will be held at the Culinary Conference Center(Hudson County Community College), 161 Newkirk Street, Jersey City, NJ from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Prayer will be raised in song, instrumental music, traditional step dance, sacred proclamations, door prizes and more. Our esteemed presider will be Sonja Garlin, Director of Trinity Child Care Center ; and the guest speaker will be Rev. Stephen Bryant, Senior Pastor of Trinity AME, Nonprofit Leader and Academic Leader. The event will feature Gospel Artist, Rexx Hill and Afro Brazilian & East Indian Dance Troupes.
This Year’s recipients are: Sharonda Allen, Dr. Rev. Danielle Brown, Quonda Cobbs-Maina, Gabiella Garlin, Tyran Mincey, and Rosemary Nwabuze
The proceeds of this event benefit the building of Winners' Academy, our Saturday School/Community Center.
