About this Event
Juneteenth Open Light Night is BetterUConnect’s largest annual celebration, bringing together the community for a powerful night of expression, culture, and connection.
This event highlights local creatives, entrepreneurs, and voices through live performances and a curated vendor market. It is a space where stories are shared, businesses are supported, and community is built.
Open Light Night is rooted in a deeper calling, to not hide what God has placed inside of us, but to boldly let it shine.
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:14–16
Through our gifts, talents, and businesses, we create space for that light to be seen — not for our own glory, but so that others may be inspired and God may be glorified through the work we do in the community.
