Bagas Fellyon (Cornish for ‘The Band of Fools’):
A gloriously chaotic groove juggernaut! they experiment with and innovate within the growing Nos Lowen style of Cornish traditional Music. This year they have played at some of the best venues and events Cornwall has to offer and taken Cornish music to various UK festivals to the Interceltic Festival in Brittany.
Davey & Kubryk-Townsend:
Bouzouki player, Neil Davey, is well known as one of the prime exponents of Cornish traditional music particularly with the internationally acclaimed band Dalla and nos lowen dance band Skillywidden. Pete Kubryk Townsend is well known as a great double bass player in world music and acoustic jazz circles. He was also a member of Dalla for several years and collaborated with Neil in the Celtic jazz-fusion group Mynstralek. Together they produce driving complex rhythms perfect for nos lowen dancing!
