Entwined together by a shared ruling planet, Mercury, Gemini and Ginkgo are the perfect pair for enhancing communication, strengthening intuition, and expanding the mind. Join us for an evening of community and herbal medicine making as we explore the diverse benefits that ginkgo has to offer!
Fatima Chavez Lopez (she/her) is a first-generation Chicana from Oxnard — a mother, birthworker (doula), traditional bodyworker, reiki practitioner, traditional herbalist, lactation educator and counselor, and cofounder of the Oxnard Birthworkers Collective. Raised with the traditional bodywork and herbal medicine practices common in her home, Fatima’s formal journey began in 2014 and is deeply rooted in Traditional Mexican Medicine. In 2019, she became a full-spectrum doula through Birthworkers of Color in Long Beach and received her Lactation Educator and Counselor certification from UC San Diego. She continues to learn with educators, mentors, and elders, deepening her practice in traditional healing. Fatima offers trauma-informed, intuitive care that is centered on the individual. She believes the power of body wisdom will guide each person’s unique path to wellness.
