Yes, GVST will have an in-person and hybrid Zoom Essentials of Gardening class June 21, 2021. We are so excited! We will meet at the Garden Center and the sessions will be broadcast on Zoom for those who have not been vaccinated and for those who may prefer it. A link for the Zoom meeting will be available soon. It is not too late, our Calendar is loaded with WaterSaver Rewards events so you can use the coupons to replenish your gardens. The coupons are for $30, $50, and $70. Additional events on the Calendar, with no Reward points, will help you learn how to work smarter, not harder. Instead of the usual pot-luck lunches we have enjoyed at our previous EG classes, you are welcome to bring a “brown bag” lunch or refreshments for yourself to enjoy during the sessions. We will continue to have our plant sale fundraiser in the corner of the room. If you have plants to donate, please bring them. If you are looking for plants, we may have them! We will again have interesting door prizes. In the past we have had large plants, planters, planting mix, gardening books, etc. Last by not least, there will be tool sharpening. So bring your tools, a bag lunch and let’s celebrate a-more-like-normal event. We would love to see you at the Garden Center or online with Zoom. So save the date.
