In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Museum and memory of the 82th anniversary of Operation Overlord (D-Day), the museum will being hosting a Wargaming Saturday event on June 6th 2026, from 10am-4pm. There will be several historical wargames going out throughout the museum, but the main focus will be a large Airborne/D-Day scenario that can support up to 8 players and a 6 player Beach landing scenario! No wargaming experience is required to play, everyone is welcome! Be on the lookout for more updates as we get closer to the event! We will also have some WW2 reenactors there as well!This event is being put on by the TableTop Pathfinders Wargaming Club. A new local historical wargaming group based here in Harnett County.
So come out to roll some dice and learn about history and celebrate 40 years of sharing the Legacy of Maj.Gen. William C. Lee "Father of the Airborne"!
