About this Event

Learn the lost “simple secrets” to boost metabolism, lower cholesterol, and 

dramatically improve your health and energy. 


A plant-based has been scientifically proven to be the key to preventing or fighting chronic disease. 

This class will help you get started or back on track with the initial steps and much more. Lifestyle changes and where and how to begin can be overwhelming. This class is about considering the key factors of what's involved: menu planning, recipes, groceries, lifestyle changes, and more.


Based on the successful 21-Day Kickstart book by Dr. Neil Barnard, MD, founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), this class sets the stage to guide you on your plant-based journey. 


In addition to the two-hour nutrition class and cooking demo, we’ve created a free, additional three-week, 21-Day Kickstart Support follow-up program.  Following the class for the next three weeks, on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:00, you and your friends are invited to weekly support sessions to share progress, challenges, and results with your colleagues. The login code will be provided to you by email after the initial class, along with other resources and recipes.

  • May 14th, Two-hour Kickoff Class presented live and on Zoom.
  • May 21st, One-hour Zoom meeting, 7:00 to 8:00 PM EST.
  • May 28th, One-hour Zoom meeting, 7:00 to 8:00 PM EST.
  • June 4th, Potluck Graduation, 7:00 to 8:00 PM EST, A live celebration on Zoom.

For some, this may be the first time food choice is prioritized over restricting food amounts (calories) as a guiding principle supporting long-term health.  You’ll gain insight on how a plant-based diet can put weight loss and maintenance into autopilot. No more calorie counting or self-inflicted starvation.

This is a lifesaving learning experience about fighting chronic disease, bolstered by delicious plant-based recipes that help lower cholesterol, control diabetes, lower blood pressure, and even boost energy and mood.
