Discover the beauty of the 6th Annual Jump off Rock Half Marathon & 10K presented by Hunter Subaru and UNC Health Pardee—an endurance running event unlike any other!Known as one of the most scenic and fastest half marathons in the South, this “downhill to downtown” race has earned its spot as the most picturesque downhill half marathon in the Southeast.
The half marathon starts at Jump off Rock, a national landmark and the highest point in the Town of Laurel Park. Runners are treated to sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the vibrant colors of spring before heading down a gently rolling, scenic 13.1-mile route that finishes in the heart of Downtown Hendersonville on Main Street.
The 10K starts at the Hendersonville Family YMCA, joining the half marathon route for a fun, fast course through the beautiful streets of Hendersonville. It’s moderately flat with a few gentle hills—perfect for a strong finish.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 10K, and all participants will enjoy a festive finish line celebration on Main Street in Historic Downtown Hendersonville.
This is race #2 in the Appalachian Trilogy series.
