Join the West Baton Rouge Museum on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 6-8 PM for Historical Happy Hour. This month’s Happy Hour will feature an energetic performance by Blue Crab Redemption. This fun summer concert will be a draw for all ages and will be sure to have the audience wanting to dance and sing along to all the songs they know.Blue Crab Redemption is a Louisiana bred and fed Alt Blues/Rock band whose major influences include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, and The Eagles. Their youth belies a raw, classic vibe from ghosts of legends past blended with the soulful influences of the modern rock era. BCR writes and performs their songs with fearless improvisational abandon that is an experience to behold. Blue Crab Redemption performs all around New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
This FREE event is open to the public. This performance will take place outdoors at the Juke Joint stage on the grounds of the West Baton Rouge Museum near 6th Street. At Historical Happy Hour, the drinks are on you, and the history is on us. All are invited to bring blankets, folding chairs, and refreshments to enjoy on the museum grounds. In the event of inclement weather, the event will move indoors.
