July Fundraiser | Basket WeavingWinter Solstice Fire Circle
Winter invites us to slow down.
On the month of the longest night of the year, we gather by firelight to honour rest, reflection and renewal. Winter’s Reflection is a deeply grounding solstice experience that brings women together in circle, to share stories, warmth and presence during the quietest season of the year.
Guided by ritual, participants will be led through basket weaving, exploring how women across cultures and generations have woven not only materials, but stories, memory and meaning. This ancient practice reminds us why ritual matters, how shared making strengthens connection, resilience and sisterhood.
With chai warming our hands, marshmallows by the fire, and stories flowing, we’ll reflect on what this season is asking of us: what to release, what to rest, and what is quietly taking shape beneath the surface.
No experience is needed, only a willingness to gather, listen and be.
All proceeds from this fundraiser support Full Circle Social Enterprises, helping fund leadership and education programs for young people growing up within unequal systems.
