Saturday, July 6
Join MOCA and visiting artist Cruz for a workshop that introduces you to the possibilities of instant photography through polaroid emulsion lift, a process used to remove the photographic emulsion from an instant print. The emulsion can then be transferred to another material, such as glass, wood or paper to create unique multimedia artworks. Registration is required for this programme.
TD Community Sunday
Sunday, July 7
This TD Sunday, MOCA’s Art Educators will be running a hands-on activity inspired by the photography included in GTA24. Learn about the history and invention of photography by experimenting with one of the earliest forms of photography: cyanotypes. Come explore both science and art with this light sensitive paper and bring home your own cyanotype photographs.
