This course was designed BY a woman, FOR women, but the instructor is a MAN. I want to make that perfectly clear up front.Whether you have never touched a firearm in your life and want to start "from the ground up," you've been shooting a few times but have never taken a formal class, you're ready to become your own first responder, or any other reason, this course has been tailored for YOU. There are endless reasons why you may want to take this course, and all of them are meaningful and significant. We welcome women of ANY experience level (including NO previous handgun experience) and ANY background to come learn with us in a safe, professional, and responsible environment.
This is a 3-part course. We will meet once a month for 3 months, for a 3 hour class. Each night we will start at 7pm, please plan on arriving 15 minutes early.
There is also a trip to the firing range each month to apply what you've learned. You do not need to bring your firearm/ammo with you to the classroom portion. We will schedule range time to be done at a later date while we are in class each time, we try to schedule range time that for the Sunday following the class date.
If you do not have your own handgun yet, contact us about arranging to provide one for you.
We must have at least 5 students registered by 7 days out from the class date, or we will need to cancel the course.
