The Bulle Rock Habitat for Humanity Club is teaming up with Habitat Susquehanna to take part in Havre de Grace’s Independence Day Parade on July 5, and we are looking for walkers! This is a relaxed, family-friendly experience (strollers welcome!) and a great way to be part of something meaningful.Youth and church groups; individuals and families; scout and school groups; and, civic and social clubs are all welcome to participate. Together, we are aiming to represent the 139 homes Habitat Susquehanna has built or rehabbed in our community, with each walker helping to showcase that story.
After the parade, it is just a short walk to Concord Point Park, where you can keep the celebration going with a free evening concert and fireworks along the waterfront. It is the perfect way to enjoy the holiday weekend — celebrate the 4th your way, then come walk with us on the 5th!
