Join us for an exciting Charity Co-Ed Softball Tournament at McCarren Park on July 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM (Eastern Daylight Time). This tournament promises a spirited celebration following the Independence Day festivities, brought to you by ROC Athletics, MSSL, and WSL. Come ready to cheer, compete, and enjoy a beautiful day of softball.

ROC Athletics will be donating team jerseys for each of the 8 teams and their players. ROC Athletics will be gifting a custom ROC Athletics glove to the Championship MVP as well (See below for some samples).

The Tournament After Party will be hosted by ROEBLING SPORTING CLUB. The VOLO Kids Foundation will be present at the party with some fun raffle prizes! Also, in MSSL/WSL July 4th Weekend tradition there will be a HOT DOG eating contest, the winner will win $100.

The entry fee of $25 will be donated to VOLO Kids Foundation. The VOLO Kids Founation's goal is to get every kid playing! Through our mission, we create community-based, youth centered spaces that provide a platform for youth mentorship, familial health and wellness, and communal well being. Each Volo Kids program removes barriers to athletic participation, such as limited financial resources and transportation. Programs are open to all kids, regardless of race, gender, or experience level

Tournament Outline:

8 teams, 15 players each.
Draft will occur June 14th, 2026.

Pool-Play Divisional Format: MSSL Division / WSL Division
Pool-Play will be 6 Innings / 45 Minutes each Pool Game / 1-1 Count
Single-Elimination Divisional Championship (MSSL 2nd Seed v WSL 1st Seed / MSSL 1st Seed v. WSL 2nd Seed) - 6 Innings / No Time Limit / 1-1 Count
Winner of Divisional Games play - top seed is home (or coin-flip if both are the same seed) - 7 Innings / No time Limit / 1-1 Count

Pool-Play games can end in a tie - those teams will be awarding 1-pt. Winners will be awarding 2-pts. Seeding will be determined by Points First, ties will be broken with Runs Against (Runs Allowed), then Head-to-Head, then Coin Toss.
