Expand on your learning of the art of scoring glass, copper foiling, and soldering a small sun catcher!We will dive into the designing our own pattern process together, picking glass, and working through from start to finish. TOGETHER!
The class will consist of 4 main steps once a design is settled that are roughly an hour each: cutting, grinding, foiling, and soldering.
All tools and materials provided. You may wish to add specific beads or other findings to your design. I do have some on hand, but feel free to bring your own. Seashells, small glass pieces, or old jewelry are all great options.
We will be working with sharp glass, hot tools, and chemicals. Safety glasses are provided. Closed toe shoes and pants should be worn in the studio. A signed liability waiver is required to participate in this class. Bring a friend, and make something unique and memorable!
