What to expect -
Mat Pilates is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercise that focuses on your core (trunk) muscles while also working on mobility of the spine. Mat Pilates can be modified for any age, body, or fitness level making it a great choice of exercise. Practicing Mat Pilates helps build a strong, balanced body and increases flexibility. It is also perfect for beginners as it only requires a Mat, some floor space and one's own body.
Vicki has a 450 hour Pilates certification and 200 hour Yoga certification and over 15 years of teaching experience. She has studied various forms of body work and Reiki as well. She enjoys guiding clients in classes and one on one instruction. There is always an emphasis on trusting one's own body and moving with focus and intention.
