JTP Tongariro Crossing day-trip
Sun 5th April - 5:50am bus!
Backup date Sun 19th April
JTP bus for a DAY-TRIP return to complete the 20km Tongariro Crossing - $60
[cheaper than the $65 shuttle from one end to the other AFTER you’ve driven there and back]
Yes faster distance walkers can do this (some may need poles), but you do need to be moving at a good pace as we have only 6 hours with small rests along the way (brisk walk pace with pack) and recommend a bit of jog down the other side if you’ve spent more than 15mins for lunch stop.
Bus price $60 per seat, regardless of age
Pay into Jogging The Powerpoles Incorporated: 03 0415 0127636 000
Refunded only if weather prevents BOTH dates
T&Cs First in First Seat.
1. Post to apply - I will then allocate a seat number to you, then you pay.
2. When the seats have filled, that’s it, nobody else can pay me off.
3. If you then can’t go on backup date, no refunds, sell your seat to someone else.
4. If weather is shitty for BOTH dates, we will refund your money.
