About this Event

Why do fireflies and some ocean creatures glow at night?

Young scientists, ages 4-6, will explore the science and magic of bioluminescence, nature’s glow-in-the-dark phenomenon! Children will discover how animals like jellyfish, fireflies, and deep-sea fish use light to communicate, attract, and survive. Through hands-on glowing experiments, kids will mix their own “light potions,” explore glowing ocean slime, and make firefly art that actually glows. Don't miss out on this illuminating experience!

This class is for children ages 4-6. Parents are welcome to stay and join the fun or drop their children off.
