Calling all LitRPG fans, bestselling authors JR Mathews & JM Clarke are joining us on Thursday, July 9th at 6:00 PM at our Aspen Grove location for a fun conversation about their first in series books!
Registration includes the following options:

We will have a limited supply of additional books for guests to purchase in store. Only a book ticket guarantees you a copy of the book.
This event includes an opportunity to meet the author, participate in an audience Q&A after the book talk, and get your book(s) signed and personalized. Photos with the author are welcome!
If you are unable to attend the event after purchasing a ticket, you are required to pick up your copy of the book (with proof of purchase from your event registration) within 7 days after the event date. If the book is not picked up by that date, you relinquish your copy to Tattered Cover Book Store.

Having worked as a public defender for almost a decade, J.R. Mathews wrote and published his first book in 2021 and to his eternal shock people actually wanted to read it. Since then, he has been working full-time as an author and plans to keep doing so for as long as people keep reading what he writes.

J.M. Clarke is a Canadian author that watched way too much Godzilla as a kid. He has worked with children and families over his career, volunteered in hospice, and failed to learn how to play the bass three times.
Having written stories for twenty years, he started sharing them online during the pandemic and—next thing he knew—he was a bestseller on Amazon. He is still half-convinced this is all a dream.
He is best known for his Mark of the Fool and Rune Seeker series (cowritten with Carter J. Thompson), and has had short stories published as well.
