About this Event
Young bakers will learn the full cookie process in this fun, two-day Jr. Chef class that runs from 10am-1pm both April 21st & 22nd. On day one, we'll mix, roll, bake classic sugar cookies and make icing. On day two, we'll talk about icing consistency, practice piping, and decorate some lovely cookies!

IMPORTANT JR CHEF INFO: This is a HANDS ON cooking class designed for kids ages 10+ who are comfortable working in groups of 2-4. Parents must sign a waiver acknowledging that, while we do our best to ensure safety, accidents can happen in a real kitchen; an emergency contact number is also required. As we only have one adult supervisor, Jr. Chefs should be able to listen, follow instructions, and work independently. Cleaning up is part of the cooking process and will be expected from all participants. There will be plenty of food to take home and share (if they choose!). Participants should bring water and a snack or lunch for scheduled breaks. Please inform us of any allergies—while we aim to accommodate, not all classes can adjust for dietary restrictions. Mentors or Guardians are welcome should a Jr. Chef need assistance.
We encourage you to bring your own containers for taking home leftovers!
