Did you know May 3 is World Laughter Day?Join Joanie and Deva for a playful, energizing experience that blends Laughter Yoga, Nia, Yoga, and Yoga Nidra to support health, happiness, and connection.
We’ll begin with laughter, breath, and gentle movement to warm the body and open the heart, then move into a joyful, heart-pumping Nia practice to awaken body, mind, emotions, and spirit. We’ll close with grounding yoga and a nourishing 30-minute Yoga Nidra with sound healing so you leave feeling light, steady, and renewed.
What is Laughter Yoga? A unique practice combining intentional laughter and yogic breathing, based on the idea that we can access laughter anytime, no humor required.
What is Nia? A barefoot movement practice blending elements of dance, martial arts, and healing arts into one expressive, feel-good experience.
What to Expect:
• Breath-led movement to energize and release tension
• A balance of guided structure and freeform play
• Sensation-based cueing so you can move in ways that feel good for your body
• A full-body nervous system reset to uplift mood and restore ease
All bodies and levels welcome. No dance or martial arts background needed.
