Knights battle for honour in a full-on mounted competition.
About this Event

From Saturday 24 to Monday 26 August the museum’s impressive jousting arena in Leeds will resound to the cheers of crowds and the clash of lances on armour, as brave knights on magnificent horses battle for trophies and honour.

The twice-daily shows at 11:00pm and 2:00pm will be full-on, unchoreographed competitions with plenty of pomp and pageantry.

It promises to be spectacular entertainment for all the family.

Tickets

There is a choice of three seating areas and ticket prices are per person. Everyone over the age of 3 requires a ticket. Tournament tickets also include entrance to the museum.

Balcony Silver - £20 | Best view in the arena from a balcony above the central tilt rail. Accessed by steep, narrow steps.

Silver - £10 | A great view of the central area where the knights clash. On these standard seats, you will get a great view of the whole tiltyard. Tiered concrete steps with wooden seating.

Red - £5 | Still a great view of the action but these seats are slightly further away from the central tilt rail. You will get to see the knights preparing to make their advance and see the run-up up close. Tiered plastic seats next to the standard silver seating.

Wheelchair users - £5 | There are 4 spaces available at each show for wheelchair / motorised scooter users. A space for the wheelchair plus one complimentary companion seat will be reserved.

Carers - Free | We offer free tickets to carers when accompanied by their service user (full price ticket required). Please email our bookings team to discuss your requirements [email protected]
