Sunday, May 17 at 3pm, $60/person - also available on Zoom!The Major Arcana of the Tarot represent the archetypes and major themes of the deck, but also our lives. In this two hour workshop, we will cover all 22 cards of the Major Arcana, their many interpretations, how to work with their wisdom, and how to integrate them into spellwork, affirmations, visualization, meditation, and more.
Jezmina, coauthor of Secrets of Romani Fortune Telling and cohost of Immaterial World podcast, is of mixed-Romani descent, and fortune telling is a multi-generational family trade taught to by their grandmother. The class will also cover how the persecution of Roma, an Indian diasporic ethnic group also known by the racial slur "Gypsies," have shaped the culture's practice of and relationship to fortune telling, and the popularization of tarot and cartomancy in the West.
You will receive an emailed PDF after the class with notes, so note taking is encouraged if it’s helpful to you, but it’s optional. Make sure to bring a tarot deck, notebook, and pen. If you don’t already have a deck, there may be a few extras for the class, or you can purchase one at the shop.
This class will take place at the Deadwick's Common Room, 19 Sheafe St., Portsmouth, NH at 2pm and will run approximately two hours. Please arrive promptly at 3pm, and allow time for parking. Guests attending via Zoom will be emailed a class link prior to the class. Please call us at 603-319-6946 if you are running late.
