One of the most powerful tools in the shaman’s repertoire is the drum. Also known as the “Shaman’s Horse”, the drum carries us to the spirit world to consult with spirit guides, power animals and teachers. Such journeying is often done for the purpose of personal and communal healing by receiving information from an altered state. In this journeying circle we’ll create
sacred space through smudging and rattling in the spirits. Next we’ll cover the basics of journeying for anyone not familiar with the process. Then, with the beat of the drum, which will be played by Lisa, we’ll take a journey using the drum to bring us into a deeper altered state of awareness and healing.
Please bring pillow and blanket and wear comfy clothes. Limited space, registration required. $35
