About this Event
These sessions are facilitated by trained and experienced counsellors in group-based setting. Learn how to explore your feelings in a safe way by writing and reflecting about your struggles and successes and letting go of negative thoughts and feelings. You will also have the opportunity to connect with other people who understand the joys and challenges of being a carer.
Journalling materials will be provided. Morning tea and light refereshments will also be provided. Please provide details of any food allergies or other special dietary requirements with your RSVP.
Sessions will be held weekly from 10:30am - 12:30pm on Thursdays 12th, 19th and 26th March, 2026. We recommend attending all sessions to get the most from the experience. Carers may also be required to complete a wellbeing assessment to determine suitability and provide best supports to carers prior to commencement of the group.

Please note: This event is open to residents living in South-Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains regions in NSW, Australia only. Participants must also be registered with Carer Gateway (we can assist with new registrations for eligible participants).
