A long-standing Sonor artist and one of the most respected players on the global scene, Jost brings a wealth of experience, creativity, and musical insight. This is a rare opportunity to see him up close in an intimate setting, where he’ll be sharing his approach to style, sound, technique, and equipment. With a strong focus on interplay and precision, the session promises to be both inspiring and highly practical for players of all levels.
Jost will also offer unique behind-the-scenes perspectives from his career, including his work and collaborations with some of the industry’s top artists making this much more than just a performance.
The support for this clinic is local Lincolnshire drummer Phil Wilson. Phil is a highly accomplished drummer and musical director, best known for his work with actor and musician Kiefer Sutherland. With a career spanning decades, Phil has built a reputation as a versatile and dependable performer, equally at home on stage and in the studio.
As the driving rhythmic force behind Sutherland’s band, Phil plays a key role in shaping the group’s rootsy, Americana-inspired sound. His playing blends groove, feel, and precision, providing a solid foundation that supports both the storytelling and musical dynamics of the live show. Beyond drumming, he is also deeply involved in the musical direction of the band, helping bring consistency and cohesion to their performances on international tours.
As an ambassador for the new SONOR Momentum series, Jost and Phil will be showcasing the kit live throughout the clinic. You’ll get to experience its sound and feel firsthand, and after the session, you’ll have the chance to explore the kits we currently have available in-store.
