Josh Kline - Revel Music Series

Josh Kline is a jazz saxophonist born in 1993 in Delmont, Pennsylvania. He began playing the saxophone at age eight after being inspired by a Reading Rainbow episode featuring jazz saxophonist Joshua Redman. He studied jazz at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), where he was deeply influenced by John Coltrane’s 1964 album Crescent. Kline has performed with his trio, including bassist Peter Gemus and drummer Tom Buckley, at venues such as Caffe Vivace in Cincinnati. He has also been active in the East Coast jazz scene, with over 600 performances and four co-produced albums by age 25. His work reflects a blend of traditional jazz and contemporary influences, and he continues to explore the saxophone’s expressive potential in both live and educational settings
