About this Event
“Del Son al Flamenco” is a unique sound and journey through the historic music of Cuba, Puerto Rico and Spain, performed by Puerto Rican/Spanish singer Ana del Rocío and Cuban singer Freddy Lugo. Also, La Meche, a prolific Spanish Flamenco dancer will bring her amazing percussion touches alongside Negroni and ANA Del Rocio.
“Del Son al Flamenco” will present Live! On Stage a magnificent group of musicians recognized by the Latin and American Academy of the Grammys. Federico Britos, (violin) Nomar Negroni (drums) Rafael Valencia (bass) among others. This magnificent musical concert will be directed by José Negroni (three times nominated for the Grammy academy.)
Without a doubt, this popular and unique concert will be an unforgettable evening, presenting recording legends of the Cuban songbook, interpreting, the Son, Bolero and Spain’s flamenco.
Some of the contemporary artists and composers who represented this musical anthology were;
Tito Rodríguez, Olga Guillot, La Lupe, Benny Moré, Lola Flores, Rocío Jurado, among many.
