Calling all artists, crafters, business owners, visionaries, and arts and crafts enthusiasts! We are thrilled to announce the second annual Joni's ArtRAGEOUS! Retreat, a three-day arts and crafts extravaganza scheduled for May 3, 4, and 5, 2026. This creative retreat is the brainchild of the award-winning and versatile artist, crafter, and teacher Joni Hasselbach. Joni and her husband, Paul, will be your hosts at their fantastic venue, Pottery Perfection, located in the charming historic downtown of Fremont, Ohio.
This dynamic three-day retreat features a variety of unique arts and crafts classes led by professional artists, crafters, and studio owners. Participants will have the chance to create an impressive range of projects, including mixed media, macramé, silk screening, a Bob Ross oil on canvas, stoneware glazing, upcycled art, fused glass, candle making, paper crafting, and pottery painting. These activities are meticulously designed to enhance creative skills, foster artistic growth, and ignite a passion for arts and crafts.
The retreat runs daily from 9 am to 5 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. For out of town guests after hours enjoyment, we highly recommend visiting Fremont's local restaurants, taking a walk on the grounds of Spiegel Grove, home of the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums, and just a five-minute drive from Pottery Perfection, or take a short 20-minute drive to Port Clinton, Ohio, to enjoy the picturesque shores of Lake Erie, where you can stroll along the beach and witness a breathtaking Ohio sunset.
Joni's ArtRAGEOUS! Retreat offers an incredible value at $399 per person. Register by March 31 to take advantage of the early bird special price of $349. A $50 savings! The fee includes all classes and the supplies needed to complete 10 fantastic projects. Continental breakfast and snacks will be served daily. Fees are non-refundable. Final registration must be completed by April 30. Please be aware that hotel accommodations and meals are not included. There are many quality hotels in the Fremont area. We recommend Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn, and Eagle Isle Wings.
