About this Event
JONA DANCE is a project-led Dance Company based in London, providing dance services across the industry, connecting a diverse network of creatives in the classical and contemporary fields. As a movement based organisation, we work with people in multiple different forms across the industry, to ensure that dance, and contemporary dance in particular, is accessible to as many people as possible.
The JONA DANCE workshop is a two-hour contemporary class led by Monique Jonas. Our movement sessions are influenced by Cunningham Technique, whilst layering influences from the West African and Caribbean movement vocabulary. Our sessions encourage you to connect to groove and flow and remind us to reconnect to our natural rhythms through movement.
At Jona Dance, we like to celebrate dance and art whilst promoting a safe space for an artist to explore and thrive, so we look forward to sharing our practice with you in the studio.
