In the far north, Icelanders celebrate holidays with the Flood of Books: a national festival of publishing, beginning with sending the Bokatidindi (book catalog) to every Reader in Iceland. This kicks off a season of release parties and conviviality, which culminates in a family feast, book exchange, and the shared enjoyment of reading and chocolates.
Come join us for books, chocolate, and all the hygge we can make; this party will be kid-friendly in the afternoon and more adult as the evening goes on.
Admission and snacks are free, and our legendary raffle baskets will be presented for your perusal. Drawing at 9; need not be present to win.
